Heweliusz (Netflix)
A set for the Polish Netflix movie Heweliusz. For a stunt scene, a cut-out of the ship was created and filmed from the side in the water studios of LITES. The set was mounted on a hydraulic platform, mimicking the ship's movement.
Sous La Seine (Netflix)
For the French Netflix movie Sous La Seine (Under Paris), an underwater carousel was engineered that mounted an underwater camera on one side and the actor on the other. This setup enabled the exact shot envisioned by the DOP.
In-house equipment
A specially engineered base for heavy crane setups on the fast camera boat Poseidon, maintaining stability at speeds up to 100km/h on rough seas. Features integrated storage and cheeseplates for heavy-duty cranes up to twelve meters.
Grip on Water is a proud member of the Koninklijke Metaalunie (Royal Dutch Metalworking Association), ensuring the highest standards in metal fabrication, welding, and engineering services for the film industry.
